3rd Annual “Meet Me in Paris” Fashion Show Sept. 15
The Mission at Kern County has been doing remarkable work in helping to transform the despair of homelessness or addiction into a path to redemption. The Mission provides shelter, meals and counseling, but it also brings the power of faith into the daily life of those seeking a new path. This year, proceeds from the fashion show will go directly to the new Jamieson Women’s & Children’s Residential Recovery Home. The Women’s Guild of The Mission at Kern County has a $25,000 fundraising goal that will help cover additional operating expenses including school clothes and supplies for the children. The fashion show will feature models from The Mission’s Women’s Program wearing clothing from Encore Boutique. Enjoy live music, a silent auction and hors d’oeuvres.
