Thanksgiving by Inspiring Designs 1

A Bounty of Beauty

An elegant holiday table would not be complete without flowers. This beautiful arrangement was created by the talented Diane Dang, owner of Garden District Flowers. Diane chose warm autumnal hues that harmonize beautifully. Chrysanthemums, roses, carnations, snapdragons and for texture, greens, ivy and branches are combined for the centerpiece. The low, horizontal design is of perfect proportion, low enough to allow conversation across the table. She also included hypericum berries, citrus and branches of orange peppers. Diane’s father makes the wooden box containers that hold the arrangements. They are simple and fit perfectly into any tabletop design. The result is natural, elegant, artistic and refined. The Garden District is located at Town and Country Village, 8200 Stockdale Highway Suite H-1. Thanksgiving Tablescape

Earth tones and a warm palette of autumnal shades set the mood for the Thanksgiving table or everyday use during the fall season. This dinnerware collection by Williams-Sonoma is called Harvest Pumpkin. The designs are based on Dutch still-life paintings and add a classic touch. Artistically detailed gourds and fruit are set against a black background that sets off their vibrancy. The collection of plates and serving pieces are rimmed with the warmth of 14-karat gold alloy, which coordinates beautifully with the Arezzo brushed gold flatware. The absolute must-haves are the shatterproof elegant Schott Zwiesel wine glasses. They are made of Tritan TM crystal and can withstand your guests’ most exuberant toasts. You can even order your entire dinner and leave the cooking to their talented chefs! The entire tablescape and ordering details are available at William-Sonoma, 9000 Ming Ave., 661.665.7920, Williams-Sonoma.com.
